Key West

Mattheessen's

Upon moving to Key West in 1993, the Mattheessen’s opened a coffee kiosk named after their daughter, “Kayla’s Cafe.” Soon after, they expanded to open a cookie and fudge store, renaming it “Mattheessen’s Cookie Kitchen,” and the rest is history.

The Place:

Satisfy your sweet tooth at any of their three locations in Key West (and newest location in Nashville). Everything sold in their stores is made in their stores, giving it that warm, sugary aroma you just can’t resist.

The Food:

Between their half-pound cookies, marble slab fudge, homemade ice cream and chocolate-dipped key lime pie, you’re sure to find the perfect sweet treat. Not to mention, all of their products are made with the most fresh and high-quality ingredients.

Our Recommendations:

After drooling over their display window, stop in and grab a warm, chocolate chip cookie for an afternoon sugar rush. One bite, and you’ll fall in love.

“Biggest and best cookie in town. These huge chippers will leave you craving one for months to come.”
